Ford Point

Richmond, CA

Project Highlights

Ford Point is a historic, architecturally significant 461,615-square-foot waterfront building in Richmond, CA. Originally built in 1930 as the Ford Motor Company Assembly Building and restored with a seismic upgrade in 2004, the property blends a legacy of innovation with modern space for R&D, manufacturing, and flex users. Blue Rise has acted as the operating partner of the project since June 2025, leading marketing and leasing initiatives.

The campus offers expansive floor plates with flexible suite configurations. With 10,500 amps of electric capacity, 3.3 MW of available power, and an additional 4,000-amp upgrade in progress, Ford Point offers the electrical infrastructure required for today’s most demanding industrial and R&D uses. Additional features include 14 dock-high doors, 8 grade-level doors, 16–18 foot clear heights, abundant skylights, and a 961-space parking lot with 17 EV chargers. The campus also offers direct access to the Richmond Ferry Terminal, a BART shuttle, on-site dining, the Craneway Pavilion, and the San Francisco Bay Trail—supporting a dynamic community of innovative companies.
